this is still a dirty hack. It's a just a proof-of-concept and not a
full solution. but it works (at least for me). Test it, use it and
enjoy it at your own risk. I assume no responsibility. |

- Be sure to have the latest Firefox for BeOS (thank you bezilla team!)
- Be sure to have the latest VLC for BeOS (thank you MYOB!)
- IMPORTANT: check to have this file /boot/apps/vlc/vlc . If you don't have it create a symlink with the same name that links to your vlc binary
- Install FakeFlashPlugin for BeOS (written by xeD)
- Create a directory called "plugins" inside your firefox directory
- copy the plugin in this new directory
- restart firefox
- open the url "about:plugins" and check you have the plugin installed.

- Using firefox, download and install Greasemonkey (written by Aaron Boodman)

- Using firefox, download and install the "Play and Download YouTube for BeOS " script (written by xeD, derived from a script by lazyttrick)
- Try to load a youtube web page and enjoy!
